I'm done wasting my money on this stuff...

Hey Reader!

In my latest video, I’m sharing 8 things I’m done spending money on in 2025. Some of them might surprise you, but after years of budgeting and paying attention to my money, I’ve realized that cutting these expenses isn’t just about saving money, it’s about spending smarter on the things that actually make my life better.

Here’s a sneak peek at what made the list:

🚫 Amazon Prime – Turns out, you can still get free shipping without the subscription as long as your cart is over $35. Plus, if I'm forced to wait until I have enough in my cart to get the free shipping, I might rethink my purchase and decide I don't even want the WiFi toaster after all.

🎬 Movie Theaters – With tickets and snacks costing a small fortune, I’d rather wait a few weeks and stream the same movie for a few bucks.

🏢 Costco Membership – Buying in bulk often leads to overspending, not saving. Unless you're feeding an army, the membership might not be worth it.

📚 Brand-New Books – Libraries and borrowing from friends are the way to go. Most books only get read once anyway! Btw, I'm reading the Mistborn trilogy right now!

👶 High-End Baby Gear – Baby brands prey on new parents' emotions, but the reality is all car seats meet the same safety standards, even the affordable ones like Graco.

💪 Gym Memberships – My home gym has saved me thousands over the years, plus I don’t have to embarrass myself publicly when I can't bench 225.

Cheap Coffee – Being frugal doesn’t mean being cheap. I’d rather cut back elsewhere so I can enjoy freshly roasted coffee every morning.

🚗 Brand-New Cars – The second you drive off the lot, you lose thousands. A used car just makes more sense to me and allows me to save money so that I can invest for retirement.

👉 What are YOU cutting back on in 2025? Reply and let me know! I’d love to hear your take.

"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much" - Hellen Keller Aaron's Two Cents: My wife, the draft horse If you've ever been on a call with me, you've heard my favorite analogy about couples working together on their finances. One draft horse (think Budweiser) can pull 8,000 pounds on it's own. You would think that two horses connected together could pull 16,000 pounds. It makes sense, but it's wrong. Two draft horses that have trained together and pull in the same direction can...
